Looks could be deceiving

Published by gadgets under Uncategorized Edit This

If you’re not an iPod fanboy, just an average user who wants a basic MP4 player, there are alternatives to the iPod nano. So here’s an iPod nano , specs include:

Capacity

  • 4GB or 8GB flash drive1
  • Holds up to 1,000 or 2,000 songs in 128-Kbps AAC format2
  • Holds up to 3,500 or 7,000 iPod-viewable photos3
  • Holds up to 4 hours (4GB) or up to 8 hours (8GB) of video4
  • Stores data via USB flash drive

While here’s another MP4 player that looks like an iPod nano clone from Cd-r King , a local manufacturer:

Capacity:

1 GB, 2 GB, expandable memory with micro SD card slot

Product Name: Mp4 Player BC-730
1.8 inch TFT Screen
FM Radio
Li-on Battery
Movie and AVI Player
Support MP3/WMA/WAV/AVI
Recording Function
JPEG Picture Viewer
Games Function
E-Book etc
Size: 70×55x8mm

It has the same looks yet different capacities. If quality is an issue, then iPod should be the right stuff. But it’s just a matter of how you use the gadgets. These imitations are purely design only, no patented software or any other functions are embedded to the device. Other than MP4 players, there are also cellphones and even iPhone imitations.
